Bush site blocks NON US visits/ Giù il sito di Bush

Il sito di Bush é giù da qualche minuto.

Sotto attacco o disservizio?
Non si tratta di un attacco in quanto il sito é regolarmente raggiungible usando un IP americano.

Bush web site is not available from Italy since 12 AM Italian time.
Under attack or malfunction?
No "hacker attack" is possible since I can easily connect to Bush web site using an US IP (as shown below).

Netcraft is reporting that also from other NON US destination the U.S. President George W. Bush web site appears to be rejecting web requests.

La notizia inizia a circolare in Italia.
Chi sta riportando che si potrebbe trattare di un "attacco hacker" sta prendendo un abbaglio. Infatti il sito é regolarmenet raggiungibile usando un ip americano. Eccone la dimostrazione; se mi collego con un altro ip accedo perfettamente al sito.

Who is talking about "hacker attack" is wrong, cause I can easily reach the site using an US IP, as shown in the sceenshot below.

The Bush web site block start spreading around the world and the big media.
The Inquirer talk about "website hacked".
The Register has an interesting fresh article where doubts about an hack attack and argues that hacking evidences are due to the new "isolationist" politic of the web site (I agree).

The Bush block is not caused by an hack attack but it is voluntary.
The reason? It's technical and very simple.
The error display is "403". You know what does it means?
10.4.4 403 Forbidden
"The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated. If the request method was not HEAD and the server wishes to make public why the request has not been fulfilled, it SHOULD describe the reason for the refusal in the entity.
